Description

This is a another drawing from my book to be, chapter- The Jelly Bog .
The Jelly bog is a Methyl cellulose derived environment. Which is a chemical compound derived from cellulose. This chemical compound is the forming of a clear viscous solution or gel creating a semi-solid environment. The gel is in fact a large living plant organisms itself . An epidermis like covering for the aquatic life beneath.
The creatures that inhabit the bog are adapted to these conditions and are specified to penetrating the thick gel skin.

Discus- flat creatures that live in small flocks. Their razor sharp disk shapes allow them to break through the thick jelly. They also have sharp pincers that are an aid breaking the skin. Suction on its back allow for it to sleep connected to the jelly layer while in the bog water. They feed exclusively on the jelly.

Torch nose- manta ray like creature that is equipped with a “nose” that can produce bio-derived heat, allowing it to smoothly cut through the jelly wall. It also has these heat pits on its wings. They are pack hunters. Its heat nose is also used as a way to debilitate its prey with 3rd degree burns, and to crack shell, which is its prey, discus, main defense.
